Product Details

A high-power visual fault locator drives a brighter visible red laser into the fiber so faults glow farther down the span than a standard VFL can reach. The extra output power extends the visible range — useful on longer links and through higher-loss connectors and jackets — while retaining the VFL’s core strength: making breaks, sharp bends and bad splices visible at the point of failure. For crews working longer spans, the high-power unit locates faults a lower-power pen cannot reach.

Aevumix supplies high-power visual fault locators in pen and handheld formats with continuous and flashing modes. The higher output extends visible fault location and continuity checking over longer distances, and a universal 2.5mm interface with a 1.25mm LC adapter fits common connectors. Like any VFL it excels at the near-end and last-meter faults an OTDR dead zone struggles with — now over a longer reach.

Because the right output level depends on your span lengths and connectors, we help you specify the correct unit. Send your typical link lengths and we will recommend a high-power visual fault locator and provide a quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

Higher output drives visible light farther down the fiber, extending the range over which faults glow and continuity can be checked — useful on longer spans and through higher-loss connectors.

Further than a standard pen; exact reach depends on output and fiber. Tell us your span lengths and we will recommend the right output level.

Yes. Like any VFL it excels at near-end and last-meter faults an OTDR dead zone struggles with — with added reach for longer links.

A universal 2.5mm interface (SC, FC, ST) with a 1.25mm adapter for LC. Send your connector mix and we will confirm.
